Spiced Oatmeal Raisin Cookies are the classic cookies you've always known, but they have been kicked up a notch with cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves. They are a perfect addition for your holiday baking this year!
Oatmeal Raisin cookies still stand out as one of my favorite kinds of cookies of all time. I don't know if it's the chewy texture that pulls me in or the fact that I pretend they might be healthy for me with all that "good for you" oatmeal! The spices in this cookie really take it up to a new level. They are buttery, chewy, and spicy!
I used two types of oats in this cookie to get just the right texture: A combination of old fashioned oats and quick oats. I also used golden raisins, because I like them so much better than the dark ones. Make sure you don't overbake these cookies so you get a nice, chewy texture!
